We are people from the community, educators, and family-oriented people who desire to see youth become leaders and serve where they live. Our mission is to help feed those in need within our El Paso community as many have been impacted by COVID-19 by having lost their employment or those that don’t have an income that allows to purchase food for their family. We want to help impact their lives through our monthly food pantries.
We serve those living in a low economic community.
In El Paso, the median income for a household is $32,124 compared to a state average of $53,207. The per capita income for the city was $14,388, almost half of the state average of $26,999. (2015 US Census).
About 19.0% of families and 22.22% of the population were below the poverty line, including 29.8% of those under age 18. These statistics show the significant need our area residents and youth experience.
Therefore, we have been focusing on serving and helping those in need. Your donations will help provide food for those in need and allow our youth to be involved by volunteering and serving the community.
Thanks to donors like you, together we will help feed El Paso.
